Sea Turtle, Inc. aims to educate the local population and visitors about sea turtles and what we can do to help them thrive. They also work to rehabilitate injured creatures and help them get back to feeling as good as new in their natural habitats. What to Expect
When you visit Sea Turtle, Inc., you can expect to get up-close-and-personal with the resident turtles. The turtles housed here were rescued and were either sick or injured when they came to their new home. Many of the turtles are rehabilitated and released back into their natural habitat; however, some of the residents here are considered non-releasable. The non-releasable turtles now serve as educators and ambassadors for conservation.

You’ll get to observe turtle feedings and daily presentations that help you understand the magnificence of these creatures and what we can do to ensure their well-being for decades.
When Can You Visit?
The best thing about Sea Turtle, Inc. is that visitors are welcomed all year long! This destination is one of the South Padre Island attractions that draws a crowd every single day, perfect for families on a summer vacation or a spring break getaway. In the summer (June 1 to August 15), they are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the off-season (August 16-May 31), they’re open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
